ACLYD — Future of Alcohol Delivery


Greetings to you, dear readers. I am always glad to share with you the most promising ideas and start-ups from the world of crypto-currencies. They are created in order to facilitate our life with you and to change the world in the future.


INTRODUCTION

 The blockchain is an undeniably ingenious invention – the brainchild of a person or group of people known by the pseudonym, Satoshi Nakamoto. But since then, it has evolved into something greater, and the main question every single person is asking is: What is Blockchain?

By allowing digital information to be distributed but not copied, blockchain technology created the backbone of a new type of internet. Originally devised for the digital currency, Bitcoin,  (Buy Bitcoin) the tech community is now finding other potential uses for the technology.


Bitcoin has been called “digital gold,” and for a good reason. To date, the total value of the currency is close to $112 billion US. And blockchains can make other types of digital value. Like the internet (or your car), you don’t need to know how the blockchain works to use it. However, having a basic knowledge of this new technology shows why it’s considered revolutionary. So, I hope you enjoy this before proceeding.

Today I will be elaborating on a very new project, a new platform with huge potential, something extraordinary deemed to change or make reforms in the blockchain.

Blockchain is gaining momentum in today's world and despite all the benefit of the blockchain, there are shortcomings. The current blockchain network comes with big computational overhead and low finality, network architectures cannot handle billions of interactions that IoT device makes every day, Issues of a low amount of transactions at a time and expensive transfer cost. The current blockchain has been plagued by all these issues and massively requires a reform Hence, ACLYD designed to address all these shortcomings effectively, its solution offers highly scalable features to organize information received on its network.

Alcoholic beverages have existed for a long time, several thousand years BC, and we can see it even in Greek mythology. Derived from the fermentation of fruits at random than to the control of whole fermentation, alcoholic beverages have gradually become part of life.
Nowadays, the industry and market of alcoholic beverage grow steadily over the years. Consumers have the high demand for alcoholic beverages as well as needing more convenience from the services that come with it. Services such as online shopping, home delivery, online payment are becoming a must-have in stores. But in the alcoholic drink market, where there are legal agreements having to be compiled, implementing such services is not easy, especially regard to restrict minors.
Besides that, there are too many problems existing in the current payment system, cause waste of time and money for the whole ecosystem using this system, from producers, suppliers, retailers and consumers.
In addition, due to the lack of agreement between raw material suppliers and manufacturers, this has caused a supply crisis and has resulted in bad consequences for many years. 

I. Aclyd Project

Jessica Contreras, Founder/CEO of Fuego Fino Inc. and The Aclyd Project, owner of the recipe and hereditary skills in the production of Tequila, having many years of experience in the alcoholic business, wishes to build a more efficient distribution system for consumers as well as to create a platform for linking parties within the ecosystem of alcoholic beverages production.
Aclyd Project aims to build a blockchain-based platform which serves for:
• The business payment processes in whole alcoholic beverages industry.
• The signing of purchase agreements between farmers and producers. 

II. Aclyd Project outstanding functions

Payment system
There are two existing problems that make the payment system based on blockchain technology is actually necessary.
  1. The delay of traditional payment processes.
  2. The attempt of tech-savvy minors aiming to bypass verification system to purchase alcoholic beverages.
Founder of Aclyd Project had bad experiences with the traditional payment processes while she had to wait weeks to complete a transaction as well as pay the charge due to using checks. This can be completely eliminated when transactions are made on blockchain technology. With the ability to execute thousands of transactions per second, blockchain can help the payment process made almost instantaneously but still ensure cost-effectiveness, accuracy, transparency, and traceability.
Besides that, online shopping and home delivery services probably flourish and become popular, but in practice, it is limited in the alcoholic beverage market. Because it is hard to control the purchase from minors via an online gateway. This raises concerns that the suppliers or retailers are possible to offend the law.
But now this issue has been solved by the blockchain-based payment system. Aclyd Project will provide to each user a crypto wallet, in which user can store ACLYD token — a means of payment in Aclyd system, integrated with the age verification system. To own the legit crypto wallet to online purchase system, the user must pass the age verification through KYC process. Thereby, the merchants and retailers can conduct home delivery system to increase the revenue without anxiety about underage purchasers.
With the advantages of blockchain, users can confident that their token is always safe. Additionally, Aclyd Project will enhance the level of security by adding several security layers such as biometrics security, video and voice verification.

Smart contract
Drawing on the experience from the previous supply crisis, Aclyd Project aims to create transparent collaboration among parties based on smart contract. First of all, both parties have to accept payments in ACLYD token. They will then agree on contract terms for prices and quantities of supply, all of which are made on smart contracts. The smart contracts are stored in blockchain and every entity of ecosystem is possible to access those contracts. Therefore, each party can regulate their production to avoid the supply crisis.

III. Business model

Fuego Fino, Inc., known as a specialized supplier of alcoholic beverages, is the first incorporation implementing Aclyd system. As an importer and wholesaler, Fuego Fino, Inc. can leverage its position in the alcoholic beverage market to create the practice of using ACLYD as a payment medium, then making ACLYD become real currency in the Aclyd ecosystem.
